This is the course description for Standard Operating Procedures.

You’re Role

As a Trainee, your role will be to:

·         Come mentally prepared each day to learn

·         Actively participate in classroom training and shift follows

·         Use the materials provided to prepare for quizzing and certification. ** Participants have found that if they review the training materials on their own, they are more likely to enjoy success and job satisfaction.

·         Provide feedback on the training program

Training Program Overview

Our server-training program consists of:

·         5 Classroom Days (5 hours each day that will include a working lunch)

·  Food Runner Follow Shift (8 hours, maximum)

·  Server Follow Shifts (8 hours, maximum)

·         1 Certification Shift (4 hours, minimum + a half-hour one-on-one meeting to review results)

·         1 Final Quiz Day (approximately 5 hours)

** Break and meal period requirements vary by FRXQWU\. Your trainer will review the details during your first classroom training session.

Daily Agendas

·         At the beginning of each classroom session, your trainer will review the daily agenda and set expectations.

·         The agendas for your follow shifts are included in this module. Quizzing and Certification

Quizzes validate the knowledge required to be a successful server. All graded quizzes require a passing score of 90% or better. Certification

Validates the skills and knowledge required to successfully run a 4-table station. Certification requires 90% to pass. A copy of the certification sheet is included in this module. Your trainer will review the details of our quizzing and certification guidelines during your first classroom training session.

1/2 Stations

Following successful completion of your certification and final quizzes, you will be scheduled for 2 shifts in a ½ station, consisting of 2 tables. This allows an opportunity to:

·         Become accustomed to the pace of Slider Makers

·         Build relationships with fellow staff members

·         Fine tune service timing and station orchestration
